Respiratory and environmental child health

Professor Peter Sly’s profile brings together paediatric respiratory medicine, lung research and environmental child health. These fields examine how disease, development and environmental exposures interact across childhood, often requiring longitudinal observation and collaboration between clinical and population-health researchers.

A paediatric trials network can connect that specialist knowledge with expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, governance and multi-site delivery. The result is a stronger foundation for research questions that need participation across institutions or regions.
