PTNA Capability Map

PTNA is creating a national database of paediatric clinical trial capabilities to improve the quality and quantity of clinical trials for children.  

The database will be used to:

  • identify and inform you about new commercial trials and investigator-initiated trials;
  • facilitate collaboration across the leading paediatric research sites in Australia;
  • broaden your recruitment pool;
  • facilitate international collaborations;
  • offer you the opportunity to participate in the development of new research ideas;
  • disseminate trial news;
  • consult your opinion on important decisions in your field.

PTNA will not use your information for purposes other than paediatric clinical research.  Your data will be held confidentially and securely by PTNA and will not be given to third parties without your consent. You can opt-out at any time. PTNA will provide your data back to your organisation.

PTNA Trials Day 2017

On 30 August 2017 Paediatric Trials Network Australia will bring together experts in rare childhood diseases and in rare treatments for diseases from all over Australia for the PTNA Trials Day. 

With a focus on clinical trials, this full day event will be jam-packed with presentations and robust discussion.

Researchers, study co-ordinators, research nurses and other health and research professionals who are interested in rare diseases are encouraged to register now!

Audience:  All welcome.  The day will be aimed at professionals involved in clinical research and those who are interested in becoming involved in clinical research. The theme for the day is rare childhood diseases and most of the presentations will focus on this topic. Students are welcome.
